The Silence is Dave's. He created it. He enforces and maintains it. I think he's proud of it. I think it satisfies him. It isn't the only thing, but it's the biggest. It's poison.
I have to do a very scary thing. I have a few things to do first, and I find it very difficult. I've grown used to not thinking and even though it keeps me unhappy, at least it's familiar. We'll see.
